Polonia Internationalis is a Polish-American start-up aimed to connect Polish people world-wide when visiting places they are unfamiliar with. Imagine you are a young Pole from Australia, wanting to visit New York City for the first time. Of course you know or heard about the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, or the Empire State Building, but do you know where Karczma is? Do you know where to buy Polish groceries? Of course everything can be found on the internet, but the idea of this organization is to have all Polish locations in one place for easy access.
For now, an app has been developed for (most) locations in NYC, however the goal is to connect with other Polish people around the world and encourage them to collect the locations of Polish churches, stores, businesses, and so on so that we can all connect with each other and promote our businesses wherever we go. Ideally, this organization would have an entire globe of Polish locations, from the rest of the United States, to countries like England, France, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, and much much more.
We also hope that Polish investors and sponsors can see the value of this undertaking, and help with the development process of this organization. This not only has the potential in creating a world-wide network of Polish people but for young Polish people, this can become an internship opportunity for Polish students pursuing careers in technology, design, history, and much much more.
